Logistics Plattform in Tarancón, Cuenca (Spain)
The project consists of two buildings with rectangular layouts of approximately 40,000 m² each. The single-pitched roof is composed of 17 spans of 23.50 m made with Double-T beams 1.00 m in depth, and 10 portals whose centrelines are spaced 12.16 m apart with mass-produced prestressed tubular purlins.
A mezzanine for offices was built with columns, L- or inverted-T beams FOR structural floor and a hollow-core slab measuring 40 cm in depth. The interior cladding was made with 20-cm thick hollow-core slabs, and the façade, with 20-cm thick smooth grey lightweight concrete panels.
180 precast loading docks were also built.
