The internationalisation of PACADAR S.A.U. is one of its main objectives. It aims to provide the services that we have traditionally provided to our clients in Spain, but from now on, when they carry out their works abroad.
A detailed ongoing analysis of the main Civil Engineering and Building Construction projects that will be carried out around the world is performed, highlighting those which will involve a high level of items precast in concrete. Similarly, we study those countries where the prefabricated sector is less advanced, which would initially enable us to provide greater added value.
Once a construction project in a specific country is selected, we develop the investment plan for a precast concrete manufacturing plant in said country, located as close to the work site as possible. Our ability to rapidly install factories overseas means we are able to start manufacturing our prefabricated structures in a short space of time.
The plant recently built in Panama serves as an example of our investment in prefabricated plants abroad. We currently have a subsidiary in this country, Pacadar Panamá S.A., which was lawfully established pursuant to Panamanian legislation. The plant is situated 10 km from Panama City, in an area of 40,000 m2, where more than 100 people work.
